About Our Butter Chicken

Butter Chicken is the dish New Asian Village is famous for. Tender pieces of chicken are first marinated and grilled in our clay tandoor, then folded into a rich, velvety tomato gravy finished with butter and fresh cream. It is the classical recipe our family has perfected over a 40-year legacy of authentic Indian cooking in Alberta.

Perfectly balanced - creamy without being heavy and flavourful without overwhelming heat - it pairs beautifully with fresh tandoor-baked naan or fragrant basmati rice. Enjoy it dine-in, takeout, or delivery at both our West Edmonton and Sherwood Park locations.
